One of the latest SmartDreamers product updates introduces the Goals feature in the Reports Module. Setting up goals is the cornerstone for a truly effective recruitment marketing strategy.

SmartDreamers helps you create and manage custom goals, giving you the flexibility to design them according to your own KPIs.

Key benefits & functionalities:

✔️ Easily set up custom goals using metrics from Advertising, Google Analytics, Job Boards, and ATS available in SmartDreamers Reports

✔️ Effectively track the results of your recruitment marketing efforts

✔️ View the progress of your goals in a simple and intuitive way

✔️ Choose any desired time frame to achieve your goals using predefined intervals or custom ones

✔️ Use widgets to organize and group your goals across various topics

🔹 How does it work?

You will find the process of creating goals and widgets tailored to your recruitment marketing efforts simple and intuitive.

Step 1. Set up your first goal in SmartDreamers by clicking on the Goals section in the Reports tab.

Step 2. To create a goal, click on “Add goal”. Next, create your first widget by giving it a name.

🚀 Pro tip: A widget is a way of grouping different goals under a particular topic, such as Employer Branding Metrics, Career Page Traffic, etc.

Step 3. Your goals will be based on sources, therefore choose your preferred source from the Sources drop-down selector.

📝 Note: You can only choose sources that are part of the same category. When you select multiple sources (such as multiple Social Media channels), only metrics that are common to all selected channels will be displayed in the drop-down list.

Step 4. Once you've selected the desired metric for your goal, you'll see a preview of the values from past intervals. This comes in handy as a benchmark for your next goal.

Step 5. Next, put your goal into context by giving it a time frame and a value.

In terms of time frames, you have two options:

  • Predefined time frames: These can be weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly. They can also help you analyze data from certain points in time. For example, you can see how many clicks you've generated this week or how many views you've generated this month.

  • Custom time frames: If you have a particular time frame in mind, select the Custom option and set the start and end dates of your goal.

Lastly, insert the exact value of your goal by typing in or using the arrow selectors.

🔹 Reviewing Goals

Once you've created your first widget and goal, you will be able to see them under the Goals section.

Here's what will be displayed:

  • The current value of the metric chosen within your goal

  • The name of the chosen metric

  • The selected time frame (either predefined or custom)

  • The progress of your goal completion in percentage

📝 Note: When a goal has been completed, the message will be displayed in green.

Conversely, when the goal hasn't been achieved, you will see the message displayed in red.

🚀 Pro tip: You can hover over the tooltip to view more details about the rules behind the goal (e.g. sources selected). In addition, the platform enables you to see the user who created the goal, along with a progress bar to easily glimpse over the status of your goal.

🔹 Managing Widgets and Goals

Want to make edits to goals and widgets? SmartDreamers has you covered with additional functionalities.
