Having all the relevant metrics in the Reports/ Campaigns tab is conditioned by a series of prerequisite actions, detailed in the two cases below.

SmartDreamers offers the following two scenarios, depending on the user's availability and setup:

Scenario #1

In case users would like to set up the tracking pixels on the career website themselves, please consider the following steps:

Step 1 - Base Pixel Install

In order to be able to track conversions you will need to install the base pixels for all the channels that will be used in your campaigns.

  • For Facebook & Instagram there are two options:

👉🏻  If you already have a Facebook pixel created in your account, you only have to  share it with your Customer Success Manager. We will then assign it to all the campaigns run by your team through SmartDreamers.

👉🏻  If not, we will send you a pixel created by our team specifically for your account. This should then be installed on the career section of the website. Note: Ideally, (for maximum turnover), the code should be installed on all the pages in the website.

  • For LinkedIn, Google Ads, Youtube, Reddit, Twitter and Quora: our team will send you the base pixels which should then be installed (ideally) on all pages of the website, or, at a minimum, only on the career section of the website.

Step 2 - Conversion Tracking Events Set Up

After the base pixels have been installed, you should then create the conversion tracking events in order to measure the number of applies and applies by influence. These should be set up on the “Thank you page” of the application process or  assigned to specific triggers related to the successful application submission specific to your interface.

  • For Facebook & Instagram

👉🏻  If you already have a Facebook conversion event set up in your account corresponding to the successful application submission, you only have to share both the base pixel and it with your Customer Success Manager. We will then assign it to all the campaigns run by your team through SmartDreamers.

👉🏻  If not, we will send you a  conversion tracking event code to be installed on the “thank you page” of the application process or to be assigned to specific triggers related to the successful application submission specific to your interface.

  • For LinkedIn, Google Ads, Youtube, Twitter and Quora: In order to track both the number of direct applies (people who applied within a 1 day attribution window) and the number of applies by influence (people who applied within a 30 day attribution window), you will need to set up 2 events for each type of conversion.

You will have to install:

👉🏻  A conversion tracking event set up with a 1 day attribution window in order to track direct applies. This will be set up on the “thank you page” of the application process or assigned to specific triggers related to the successful application submission specific to your interface.

👉🏻  A conversion tracking event set up with a 30 days attribution window in order to track the number of applies by influence. This will be set up on the “thank you page” of the application process or assigned to specific triggers related to the successful application submission specific to your interface.

  • For Reddit: only applies by influence metrics are available (with a 28 days attribution window).

       We will send you:

👉🏻  A conversion tracking event set up with a 28 days attribution window in order to track the number of applies by influence. This will be set up on the “thank you page” of the application process or assigned to specific triggers related to the successful application submission specific to your interface.

  • For Quora: only direct applies metrics are available (1 day attribution window).

       We will send you:

👉🏻  A conversion tracking event to be set up on the “thank you page” of the application process or to be assigned to specific triggers related to the successful application submission specific to your interface.

Scenario #2

This scenario allows SmartDreamers to handle the whole integration process on behalf of the user.

After installing the Google Tag Manager on the Career page,  the integration flow will be initiated by our team.
